  • 10 cups (approx.) peaches
  • 2 TBSP Lemon Juice
  • fruit-fresh produce protector
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Butter a deep dish (11.5” X 8”).
  2. Slice peaches and place on bottom of dish, sprinkle fruit with Fruit-Fresh and lemon juice.
  3. Mix above ingredients into a thick batter, spoon batter over peaches. Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over batter then ½ cup cold water over it.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
  5. Note: Make sure your peaches are heaping in the baking dish, peaches will cook down during baking process.
