AMISH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS

INGREDIENTS

  •   1 cup Softened Butter
  •   1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  •   1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  •   2 Large Eggs
  •   2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  •   1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  •   1/2 teaspoon Salt
  •   2 3/4 cups of All-Purpose Flour
  •   2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

  • Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a mixer.
  • Add one egg and the vanilla and mix until combined.
  • Add the remaining egg and continue to mix.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt
  • Add the flour mixture a littleat a time to the wet ingrediants.
  • Stir until it is completely incorporated.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Spoon the cookie dough into a 9×13″ baking pan lined with parchment paper.  Press the cookie dough down until it is evenly dispersed in the pan.
  • Bake the cookie bars in an oven preheated to 350 degree oven for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown on the top.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
