The recipe for Amish chicken corn soup is simple, but it does require some time and effort to prepare. The first step is to cook the chicken in a large pot of water until it is fully cooked and tender. Once the chicken is done, you can remove it from the pot and set it aside to cool. While the chicken is cooling, you can start preparing the rest of the ingredients.

The next step is to add chopped onion, celery, and carrots to the pot, along with some garlic and bay leaves. You can also add some salt and pepper to taste. These ingredients will help to give the soup its delicious flavor and aroma. After the vegetables have cooked for a few minutes, you can add the chicken broth and bring the soup to a boil.

Once the soup is boiling, you can add the corn kernels and let the soup simmer for about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the corn to cook and release its natural sweetness into the soup. After the soup has simmered for a while, you can remove the bay leaves and add the shredded chicken back into the pot. You can also add some heavy cream to the soup to give it a rich and creamy texture.

The final step is to let the soup simmer for another 10-15 minutes to allow all the flavors to blend together. You can adjust the seasoning to taste and add more salt and pepper if necessary. Once the soup is done, you can ladle it into bowls and serve it with some crusty bread or crackers on the side.
